GOD'S GOVERNANCE, Life to the full

Madaraka Day marks the anniversary of Kenya being granted internal self governance. As disciples we have given total governance of our lives over to Jesus. For Jesus to govern our lives is for us to follow his lead, commit to his will, trust in his promises and obey his commands. Thank God we have such a Wonderful Lord!

TOM ZIEGLER APPOINTED ELDER

On the 18th of October 2009, Tom Ziegler was ordained as an elder in the Northern Virginia Church of Christ.

Tom and his wife Lori were members of the mission team that heroically planted the church in Nairobi 20 years ago, laying the foundation for the advancement of the kingdom in East Africa.

Tom and Lori’s son Nicholas was born in Kenya.

From Kenya, the Zieglers moved to Johannesburg, South Africa and then to Virginia, USA.

The Nairobi church continues to appreciate the impact of the Zieglers’ lives, and the East Africa congregations congratulate Tom on his ordination as elder in the kingdom of God.

Heroic acts of faith never become too outdated to report or too far in the past to be relevant.
